About Me

During three years as a reporter for the New York Post, and then two as a story coordinator for “Inside Edition,” the TV news magazine, our family garden was my decompression chamber. Earning a Certificate in Landscape Design from The New York Botanical Garden just encouraged my obsession, and moving to Seattle has probably made me incurable.  So naturally here I am writing about gardens.

I am honored to contribute award-winning features to the Seattle Times, a garden column for Pacific Publishing for several Washington newspapers, and edit Seattle Greenlaker, your source for all news Green Lake.

  1. Hi Erica, I was wondering if you have any tips on writing a self guided tour for a garden? I am working on the Green Lake Elem School garden, planning for our grand opening Oct 2, and wanting to get something together that can be used by visitors and teachers. – Katherine Anderson (MHC ’92!)
